The EzComm COM DLL makes it easy to connect two computers and begin sending messages or files between them. The messages can be anything - text or binary data, and the computers can be on the same network or across the Internet anywhere in the world. What is EzComm and how does it work? EzComm is a set of COM objects that take care of all of the low-level TCP/IP work for you, making it easy to begin exchanging messages immediately. Probably the easiest way to accomplish this is for one PC to act as "server" for all clients, and for it to foward all messages it receives from connected clients. You would write your application code to use and manage all of the EzComm objects. Each time a new client connects to the server, it is added to a list of connections the server maintains. For example, suppose you have PCs A, B and C, and PC A is acting as server. You write your server code such that it listens for incoming connections. When PC B connects, it stores this connection object in a list, and loops around and waits for another connection. When PC C connects, it does the same. When PC B sends a message to the server, you could write code to forward the message to all connected PCs in the list. This is only one scenario.
